BENVENUTI SAN SALVATORE MALVASIA 2013
At 400 meters above sea level, in the vineyards of the San Salvatore position, they grow Malvasia for Benvenuti wine, which they have dubbed “the new era of Malvasia”. Vineyards are planted on sandy soil and face south. Highly representative of its variety, this is the first Istrian Malvasia made from dried grapes. Very oily to the eye, this sweet wine is characterized by honey aromas and fruitiness. At the same time, its character is rounded by pronounced acidity, which provides for aging potential. The San Salvatore 2013 was aged in oak barrels for 18 months.
Recommended with different kinds of dried fruits, soft cheese with honey, desserts like cheesecake, and similar. Served on 12 – 14 °C.
