GALIĆ GRAŠEVINA 2019
Beautiful and delicate fruity aromas of pineapple, green apple and vineyard peach, as well as the spicy aromas of chamomile and dried flowers make up the characteristic scent of the terroir of the Kutjevo vineyards. The taste is elegant with finely tuned acids and a nice finish, which makes this wine extremely drinkable. The grapes were cold macerated for 18-24 hours. The wine was fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks. 33% of the wine was fermented with natural yeasts and aged on lees – sur lie.
It should be served cool at 10 – 12 °C in a classic stem glass for white wines. Though nice for sipping on its own or as an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with cold cuts from continental Croatia, pastas with mushrooms or vegetables, dishes with light meat poultry, white saltwater fish of a more delicate flavor like the European hake or piper gurnard, as well as the freshwater fish like trout or zander.
